Recognized Certifications Help Safeguard Consumers
All Languages is well respected within the translation and interpretation industry, and for good reason. Being committed to ensuring that our linguistic services are among the best in the world, we have worked diligently to attain and maintain extensive quality standard certifications. We are the first translation and interpreting services provider to hold all available Canadian and European industry standard certifications.
International Organization for Standardization – ISO 9001:2008 Registered
ISO 9001:2008 was developed by the International Organization for Standardization, which promotes and certifies the adoption of a systematic process approach for developing, implementing, and improving the effectiveness of a quality management system. We have been registered by an accredited and independent third-party audit firm.
CEN – EN-15038
This quality standard for translation services was published by CEN, the European Committee for Standardization, and provides certification of translation-specific quality management systems. Compliance is ensured by independent, on-site audits by recognized certification bodies assessing core translation processes and all other related aspects involved in providing the service, including calibre of linguists retained, client agreements, quality assurance processes and traceability.
Canadian General Standards Board – CAN/CGSB-131.10-2008
Developed under the auspices of the Canadian General Standards Board and approved by the Standards Council of Canada, this certification establishes and defines the process requirements for the provision of translation services. It harmonizes, where possible, with the provisions of EN-15038 and was highly advocated for by l'Association de l'industrie de la langue/Language Industry Association (AILIA).
Language Industry Certification System–Community Interpreting Service Provider – LICS-CISP
All Languages was the first Canadian company to receive the LICS-CISP certification. This certification scheme specifies criteria for interpreting services provided in the provision of public services and in settings such as government agencies, community centres, legal settings, educational institutions and social services.
National Standard Guide Community Interpreting Services – AILIA-NSGCIS
AILIA awarded All Languages its first AILIA-NSGCIS certification. The AILIA-NSGCIS audit, like that of LICS-CISP, is based on the National Standard Guide for Community Interpreting Services (NSGCIS) developed by the Healthcare Interpretation Network.
