Remote interpreting (OPI & VRI) - Fastest growing
On-demand or pre-arranged phone (OPI, 230+ languages) and video (VRI, 30 languages — 29 spoken + ASL).
Sign language interpreting (ASL)
Live, on-demand ASL by video through InterpreterConnect, 24/7; and pre-arranged ASL in person, enabling communication between hearing and Deaf, hard of hearing, and/or deafblind individuals.
Simultaneous / conference interpreting
Real-time interpretation for events — on-site or remote (RSI). Pre-arranged only; specialist conference interpreters, equipment, and technical services.
Chaperones & English / French readers
Impartial witnesses for medical and legal appointments, and readers for official-language documents.

Certified or accredited interpreters, including ACIs, for proceedings that require them. Pre-arranged via My.AllLanguages.com or our team — not available through Quick Connect.
On-demand interpreting, 24/7 — for everyone
Quick Connect blends on-demand phone (OPI) and video (VRI) interpreting in one service — available 24/7, 365, with near-100% fill rates. It’s ideal for call-centre and front-line teams, video appointments, emergencies, short conversations, and anywhere travel or wait times are a barrier. It’s used most in healthcare today, but it fits almost any organization.
Live ASL included: in a market where sign language interpreters are in short supply, we offer live, on-demand ASL by video through InterpreterConnect — 24/7, with near-100% fill. (For pre-arranged ASL we book local interpreters first, with InterpreterConnect as the approved failover.)

Canada’s longest-running, 55+ years
We are Canada’s longest continually operating full-service translation and interpreting company, serving clients since 1971 across medical, legal, insurance, social services, government, education, and business. Each year we serve thousands of enterprises and tens of thousands of people who place orders.

470+ spoken and signed languages and locales for pre-arranged interpreting; 230+ for on-demand OPI; 30 for on-demand VRI (29 spoken plus ASL). We capture dialect and locale during intake and match the same or most widely understood variant — locale can matter, as with Canadian versus UK English, or Quebec versus France French.

Certified to eight independently audited standards — six ISO and two Canadian. The standard specific to community interpreting is the CLIA National Standard Guide for Community Interpreting Services (CLIA-NSGCIS); our interpreting ISO standards are ISO 18841, ISO 20228, ISO 21998, and ISO 23155.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between pre-arranged and on-demand?
On-demand (Quick Connect) is available 24/7, 365, with fill rates close to 100%. It is ideal for emergencies, short appointments or conversations, service in remote areas, and situations where travel costs would be excessive. Pre-arranged gives you the greatest selection of interpreter qualifications and lets you book interpreters face-to-face — arguably the highest level of quality available, followed by video.
How do I access each one?
For pre-arranged interpreting, anyone can call, email, or create a portal account to book in advance — covering every modality (in person, OPI, VRI, simultaneous, sign language, and chaperones). For on-demand (Quick Connect), you first create an account; then you simply dial our number or go to InterpreterConnect.AllLanguages.com to connect to an OPI or VRI interpreter in seconds. Simultaneous and conference interpreting is pre-arranged only.
What is community interpreting?
Community interpreting — as defined by the National Standard Guide for Community Interpreting Services (NSGCIS) — is bidirectional interpreting in public-service settings such as healthcare, legal, social services, government, and education. It is the overarching context for public-service interpreting in Canada, typically delivered consecutively. All Languages is aligned with the NSGCIS and can provide Accredited Community Interpreters (ACIs) on request.
Can I request a certified or accredited interpreter?
Yes. Certified and accredited interpreters, including ACIs, are scheduled on a pre-arranged basis through My.AllLanguages.com or our internal teams — Quick Connect telephone and video interpreting cannot pre-schedule interpreters of this caliber. Unless you request otherwise, we don’t make certification mandatory; we find the best available interpreter for the context. Supply is limited, so these levels are typically provided by default only in mandated contexts, and different tiers carry different rates and minimums.
How do I get a quote or place an order?
Email Interpreters@AllLanguages.com, call 1-888-975-4468, or self-serve through our portal at My.AllLanguages.com. For pre-arranged services, tell us the language, date, time, location, and nature of the appointment. Existing clients place quotes and recurring orders any time through the portal.
Other FAQ's
From certifications, to qualifications, to booking rates, here are our answers to some of the key questions asked by clients when sourcing interpreting services from All Languages.
Interpreting whitepapers
Gain insights on a variety of best practices and information that will help improve your experience and understand the nuances of the work required to deliver quality service.
Our people
Technology alone is not enough. Quality people and accurate information is what sets us apart from the rest.
Recruiting
Our recruiters follow a process similar to the Association of Translators and Interpreters of Ontario (ATIO) and other organizations affiliated with Canadian Translators, Terminologists and Interpreters Council (CTTIC). Most interpreters will have post-secondary education, passed a language test (CILISAT/ILSAT) and at least 1-3 years of setting-specific experience.
Interpreter selection
Every vendor has a data profile in our automated Vendor Management System (VMS). When an order is created, our Intelligent Interpreter Selector (IIS) application automatically provides an experienced coordinator with a shortlist of choices for final selection, all in relation to your project. We also recruit to a specific CV when a technical, scientific, or other subject-matter expert is required.
Tiered fee structures
There are a wide range of qualifications, training and experience that an interpreter may have, each group of which often commands a different rate. Whatever your qualification or budget needs may be, we can help. Quality is the goal, so more qualified vendors are offered the right of first refusal on lower rate assignments.
Excellent relationships
We talk to interpreters every day and know that many prefer to work with All Languages. They like our approach. Plus, our technology makes their life easier when accepting assignments, receiving details and reporting their times. Check our Google reviews for some unfiltered feedback.
